Suspended Laboratory Furniture

Suspended laboratory furniture allows for a flexible, dependable future-proof system. It's ideal for laboratories where hygiene is the most important concern. This range has been designed with HTM63 in mind. It's ideal for industrial, clean rooms and healthcare laboratories.

The suspended system provides space under the cupboard for easy access to cleaning while the storage units can be moved within the system if your requirements in the laboratory change.

The Trespa worktops are fixed to and supported directly by an industrial standard 40 x 40mm powder-coated steel frame. The system has a robust construction and does not require any supporting steelwork to carry loads up to 240KG. If a larger load is required, this can be accommodated. 

The longest single length of the Trespa worktop is 2500mm or 3000mm depending on the best usage of material. For longer lengths, we provide/fit biscuit joints and levelling plates to ensure the joints are watertight and of the highest quality. This provides a seamless worktop solution. The standard depth for a Trespa lab worktop is 750mm however we will manufacture to the size which suits your requirement. There is a choice of Trespa worktops colours to suit your requirements.

Our cabinets, which are all made here at our factory in Yorkshire, are manufactured with carcasses that are constructed from 18mm MF MDF covered over with a waterproof decorative laminate which provides a durable and easy-to-clean surface. Our standard carcasses and door colours are grey or white. However, we do offer non-standard door colours and edging if required. We offer the option of having the suspended units designed to slide along the support frame. This also allows them to be fully interchange i.e. the cabinets can be taken off the frame to leave a space or swapped for a different style of the cabinet if required.

All cabinets are hung on:

• 2no fixed rear elevation hangers

• 2no spring-loaded retractable hanging bolts at the front elevation

Cabinet Construction:

• All units are constructed by hand in our workshops utilising 100% laminated waterproof 18mm MDF board and hardwood joints

• Door and drawer edges are finished in a 2mm impact-resistant PVC lipping coloured as the client's choice.

• To allow full access and prevent carcass/ hinge & door stress, all doors are hung coated on steel hinges opening to 270 degrees

• All cupboard cabinets are complete with full height adjustable internal shelf

• All cabinets are complete with 4 bookcase ladder rack shelf supports

• Units to be completed with Stainless D Shaped handles

• All leading or exposed edges are moisture and knock resistant

• Drawers have steel sides and a 15mm MDF bottom and back.
